Elena read chemistry before she read law, and it shows in how she handles a breath or blood result. An intoxilyzer output is an instrument reading with a documented error profile, a required observation period and a maintenance history, and every one of those is discoverable.
She runs the firm's express consent practice. That means the seven day hearing request goes in the day a client calls, and the DMV hearing is treated as the first real cross examination of the case rather than a formality to be conceded.
She also completed the same standardised field sobriety test certification course that officers take, which is how she knows when a roadside manoeuvre on body worn camera was not administered the way the training manual requires.
